Italian language settings for iOS

1. Make sure that there is Italian keyboard in Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards.

2. Additionally, make sure that Automatic or Italian is selected for the Italian keyboard in Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard.

3. The Italian language code is IT, represented by the numeric 6, 2.

4. The language at L3 can be any Roman alphabet language. The initial factory setting is English.

5. The language at L4 can be any language. The initial factory setting is none.

6. The Italian language can be set at either L3 or L4.

7. To set the Italian language at L3, press L3 + L1, 6, 6, 2.

8. To set the Italian language at L4, press L3 + L1, L4, 6, 6, 2.

9. To unset the language at L4, press L3 + L1, L4, R1.

10. Roman alphabet letters and common keyboard symbols are as in Rivo alphabet layout and Rivo symbols layout.

11. Letters with diacritic accent marks in Italian can be typed as follows:

òR2 + 3

12. Additional symbols can be typed in symbol mode as follows:
