Spanish language settings for iOS

1. Make sure that there is a Spanish keyboard such as Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America) or Spanish (Mexico) is in Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards.

2. Additionally, make sure that Automatic or Spanish - ISO is selected for the Spanish keyboard in Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard.

3. The Spanish language code is ES, represented by the numeric 1, 7.

4. The language at L3 can be any Roman alphabet language. The initial factory setting is English.

5. The language at L4 can be any language. The initial factory setting is none.

6. The Spanish language can be set at either L3 or L4.

7. To set the Spanish language at L3, press L3 + L1, 6, 1, 7.

8. To set the Spanish language at L4, press L3 + L1, L4, 6, 1, 7.

9. To unset the language at L4, press L3 + L1, L4, R1.

10. Roman alphabet letters and common keyboard symbols are as in Rivo alphabet layout and Rivo symbols layout.

11. Letters with diacritic accent marks in Spanish can be typed as follows:

éR2 + 1
úR2 + 2
üR2 + 2, 2
óR2 + 3
áR2 + 4
íR2 + 6
ñR2 + 9

12. Additional symbols can be typed in symbol mode as follows:
