Typing Arabic with Rivo

Settings for Rivo

• The Rivo language code for Arabic is AR, entered as 4, 5.
• To assign Arabic to L4, press L3 + L1, L4, 6, 4, 5.
• To remove the language or typing profile assigned to L4, press L3 + L1, L4, R1.

Settings for iOS and iPadOS

• On an iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards, and add Arabic and English keyboards if needed.
• Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard. For the Arabic keyboard, select Automatic or Arabic. For the English keyboard, select Automatic or U.S.
• If certain commands do not work or the characters entered differ from those described in the manual, try selecting a different hardware keyboard layout.
• For basic Roman letters and common keyboard symbols, refer to the Rivo alphabet, ABC alphabet, and Rivo symbols in Typing with Rivo document.

Settings for Android

• We reculmmend using Gboard for typing Arabic on Android. No special Gboard settings are required other than adding Arabic in the Gboard language settings.
