Rivo3 Software Update Guide

You can check the Rivo3 software version by viewing the Rivo Bluetooth device name on your connected device under Settings > Bluetooth.

To update to the latest software, you will need a Windows 11/10/8 PC and a USB-C data cable.
Important: After upgrading to Rivo 3.5.2 or later, you cannot downgrade to a version earlier than 3.5.

Update Steps:

  1. Download the latest software file “Rivo3_3.x.zip” and extract it.
  2. With Rivo powered on, connect Rivo to your PC using a USB-C cable.
  3. In the extracted folder, run “Rivo3_Updater.exe” or “Rivo3_3.x.exe”.
  4. Depending on your PC settings, a User Account Control (UAC) dialog may appear.
  5. When the “Rivo Update” window appears, click Next.
  6. Follow the voice prompts: hold the Power button, then briefly press and release Button 2.
  7. Wait while the update is in progress. Do not disconnect Rivo or the USB cable until the update is complete. (Disconnecting may cause device malfunction.)
  8. Wait until Rivo announces, “Rivo has been successfully updated.” Then click Exit on the PC.
  9. Disconnect the USB cable, then pair Rivo3 again and use it as usual.
